Industrial Parks

Setting up in the Victoriaville et sa région will breathe new life into your business…

The establishment of industries in the MRC d'Arthabaska is simplified by the availability of four industrial parks located in Daveluyville, Kingsey Falls, Victoriaville and Warwick. These parks are equipped with the infrastructures required for industrial development such an aqueduct system and sanitary and storm sewers.

Victoriaville has moreover recently increased its available industrial space by one million square metres. The region also offers well-equipped industrial zones in rural settings. These zones provide interesting growth potential along with easy access to regional roadways.

The total area occupied by these four industrial parks is slightly higher than 8,3 millions square metres. About 40% of this space is currently available for the construction and establishment of new plants.

New Economy
The region has in recent years implemented an economic diversification program addressing traditional sectors as well as an increasing number of new technology sectors (information systems, networking, geomatics, communications, etc.). Since expertise and grey matter are the drivers of the new economy, companies are continuing to recruit a young, dynamic work force, people who opt to stay and grow in the region. Given that distance from market centres is less of an issue for these sectors, the future looks bright.
